it would work piss poor doe would be better if the bonnet wa facing other way if u get wat i mean?

and if u did have a vent urd have to have loads of slack on the pip for when you open the bonnet

i wasnt thinking of a pipe..was thinkin of just shapin the metal so it sort of directs the air towards the induction kit.

urd need it welding on though or u could just mesh under the existing mesh so the new mesh lines cover the gaps in origional mesh if tht makes sence

just cut a hole in the mesh and have ur induction filter sticking out hte bonnet like with muscle car engines :lol:

like overlap the mesh with more mesh but no so the lines are are over each other basically so they dnt line up with each other

what ever method u use dan just make sure not to block it off compleatly as in leave a hole sume were or put the blanking plate(if u use that method) at an angle so the water can dreain away u dont want a bonnet lake do u lol :P

u should make a could air feed!! its easy took me an hour with an angle grinder and a piece of sheet metal about 1.25mm thick, 3 bolts and some body filler!

look underneith ur air filter and u will see the road so why not just take the time to design 1 which u can bolt on to the bottom of the front bumper and scoop the air up to ur air filter its simple try it you wont be dissapointed with the results... or at least i wasnt!
