I have had my GSi 10 weeks now, and just recently i seem to have a
rattling noise coming from the dashboard on the drivers side (to the right of the dials) or i think it maybe under the
bonnet right up inside the bulk head.
I have had a good look under the bonnet but i cant see anything that could be causing it.
This rattle is only noticeable when am travelling down the road not when am stood still.
I didn\'t want to take all the dashboard to pieces but i might have to.
It drives me mad!
It will probably only something simple?! I hope!
Anyone had a similar noise? Any ideas?

Have you had an after-market alarm fitted, or had any dash bulbs replaced??
Tis a common thing with the Corsa\'s, my GSi rattles too, but on the passenger side!

Yeah its had an alarm fitted.
do you think its something to do with the alarm then?
The noise is like, a nut and bolt rattling around in a biscuit tin?!
If that makes sense?
It really annoying, aslong as i have the stereo on then it drowns the rattling noise out.
What do you suggest then?

yeah it makes sense!
sometimes when the dash is put back in place, they miss the odd screw/bolt or dont tighten it all up properly so it rattles!
or the cables are run through & not tidied up well enough to stop them catching on something!
