speedo
i know this topic has been mentioned loads but i just want to make sure i am correct. My speedo died on the way home and i am assuming its the cable??? everything else seemed to be working fine. its a t reg 1l x10xe. any help would be appreciated....

Most likely, does the speedo start at 10mph? If it's got a 0mph then it's electric and has no cable.

If it's t reg it will be electric. Check fuse number 17 on your fuse pannel. If thats blown, your cig lighter socket won't work either. If that's fine the prolly your clocks have had it and are easy to replace. Just 'plug n play'.
K (1993) to N (1995) reg = Cable
P (1996) to X (2000) reg = Electric
K (1993) to N (1995) reg = Cable
P (1996) to X (2000) reg = Electric

just checked fuse and was dead, also found a penny lodged in the cigarette lighter. cheers for your help guys, saved me again lol
