throttle body
helppppppppppppp removed airbox to clean out throttle body worked well blowing black smoke, but when driving the engine management light came on and when i got the car home noticed she was reving high about 1500 can anybody help

There are alot of vacuum tubes coming out of the throttle body did you remove any or disdurb any when you took your airbox off? if you have one unconnected it will affect your idle and wont rn aswell.
By running the engine with the airbox removed you would be by passing the MAF and this would confuse your engine and give you a fault code, problems with the MAF also cause idle problems. Check that the cables are plugged into it properly, resetting the ECU may help to do this you need to unplug the battery for a few hours. WARNING if you unplug the battery you will reset your stereo and need to put in the security code to get it to work again.
