Hi again every1! The other day some idiot shoved a load of paper up my exhaust - i got it out within 1 min as soon as i relaised but since then my engine has been making some weird sounds. Once turned on there is a knocking sound coming from the engine block - sounds like someone clicking their fingers. Its not random knocks - its a constant noise. Its also causing some large vibrations in the drivers seat, steering wheel and gear lever - much more noticeable than the usual minor vibrations.
Does anyone know what this could be and how much its likely to cost to get it sorted?
Oh i am taking it to a garage tomorrow to get them to check it as well but any replies here would also help so i know if the garage is on the right lines.
Thanks in advance

Re: Knocking noise from the engine block....
Just thought id say - i took it to HiQ and they sed there aint anything serious up with it. They've sed the oil is a bit thin and recommend and oil change soon though but apart form that its ok. I was thinking of getting a second opinion though just to be sure. I think if it was anything serious though then there wud be other problems - poor performance, loads of exhaust smoke, oily coolant and mayo on the filler cap so i think in in the clear
