corsa b cuts out !!!

hi i have a corsa b 1.0 12v 2 cylinder , it has recently started cutting out as aprouching junction ( usualy low revs or clutch in ) and not starting back up again for a while , i was told camshaft sensor which i have changed ! then air flow meter which i have changed ! still hapened with engine managements light constantly on now ! i have nopw been told it is the coil so i put a brand new coil on today and it drove fine for bout 10 miles ( management light off ) and then same again at a junction ? i dont have a clue what it could be now and its startin to get really annoyin ! any help would be great thanks josh

If your engine warning light is on you best take it to a private car garage (not vuaxhall as exspensive) and get them to plug a fault code reader diginostic into your car. That will tell them stright away which part is causing a problem.

Just to mention is a 3 cylinder.

i have same problem, it usually does it when clutch is down! it wel annoying! especially when ur trying to turn a corner n it cuts ur power steering off. but i have no idea what it is lol

if you go to FAQ's n then common fault thread, it says about crank sensor!?

it mite b ur lambda sensor mate, my mates has just gone on his and has those symptoms

ive just brought a 1.6 corsa sport that does it and ive been told it might be the egr valve sticking open and not closing on low revs so it might just need a clean.

ill be having a good look over mine this week as im off work so when i find out wot it is ill post it straight up

best things to do is to get a diagnostic done on the car. however make sure they clear all the problems first as in many cases they havnt and it will still show up. proberly wont be your egr valve as you can supposingly block it off.

right i took it down the garage and they have pluged the machine in and told me its the egr valve which i know is right down the back after trying do it myself.
its a right pain so i think they can do it for me .
ive been told it can be cleaned out and that should fix the problem.

yeah you can block it off which would mean it was permently closed but ive been told u only get problems when they stick permently open.
it sort of makes sence to me lol
