Thats what I have (I have the carbon one). It comes with a pipe you connect to the air intake manifold at the back of the engine, and the other end of the filter gets connected with a pipe (sold separately) to the front of the bumper. (That's the cold air feed part)

Re: Corsa Ls Air Filter
so it will have to come out of the bumper? e.g. a hole? surely theres another way every1 has an air filter come on. soz to be anoying but one last time i need to know all parts il need to have an air filter, preferbly not a hole out of bumper.

Re: Corsa Ls Air Filter
Yeh - most people who get a cone filter / induction kit don't really bother with the cold air feed and instead loose power by sucking in all the hot air from their engines. Heres an idea my m8 did tho - get a custom grill that is not solid (e.g.: a mess one or one with a couple of plastic bars on it) and then just attact the pipe to the end of it. Then you will get a clean cold air feed. There is however a small plastic 'sheet' just behind the grill (on his car anyway) which you might have to drill through. It aint major though so will only take you a few mins. If you don't like this approach then maybe try getting a k&n pannel filter and deristicting the standard airbox. This will give you nearly as much hp gain has an induction kit and be a lot easier and cheaper. Plus will not need declaring on insurance as a new air filter is classed as rountine maintenance whereas an induction kit is classed as a performance enhancing modification.
Anyway soz 4 the long reply but hopes that helps. And btw filters are engine not model specific. So it dosen't matter if you have a LS or a GLS or watever, all that matters is the engine size e.g.: 1.2 8valve, 1.0 litre 12valve etc

Re: Corsa Ls Air Filter
Another short memory span issue! I gave the link already! You don't NEED the cold air feed, but if you don't what's the point of the new filter? Also, you don't have to drill a hole in your bumper, you can place the end behind it in such a place where it has a direct feed. (I.E. near a gap for example.)mobiius wrote:Get One Here

Re: Corsa Ls Air Filter
I already gave you the link to this filter which includes everything needed to attach it like I have!
It'll do what you want! Look good and sound good but wont give much performance and requires NO bumper drilling.
