How ever, not sure wether to get them in 15" or 16" :/
I am gona lower the car as im fancying the euro style so what you think, i believe 15's would be my best option?

Re: Advice Needed !?
the safe option would be 15" with a nice set of coilovers so you can get it down as far as possible

Re: Advice Needed !?
This is illegal. they need to be covered by the arches otherwise it's an MOT fail if they stick out too far. I believe it's 2 cm either side.green_machine wrote:i've seen euro style cars with the wheels sticking out the sides by a couple inches

Yeah go for 15's ..they are much better and get some coilovers and get smoothing if your going euro ..less is more....and wheels usually stick out coz of their offset ..ie volkswagen wheel will fit a vauxhall coz of the stud pattern is the same but the offset is different so they will sit further out........or yes you could just use spacers and stick em out ...or just get a generally wide wheel !!
Matt Neal for the championship ....woo off to thruxton next sunday !!!

Re: Advice Needed !?
get these on an et 29 so you wont need spacers then get some 175/40/15 rubber get them stretched then go for some CHEAP and cheerful hottuning coilovers and drop it 70/80mm you will still need to get your arches rolled tho

Re: Advice Needed !?
195/40-16 seem to be the perfect size for a corsa from what i can gather, they give a pretty much identical rolling radius to the standard 145/80-13 so don't trash you gearbox and kill acceleration like 17" would and in my opinion suit the car better, the closest sized 15" would be 195/50-15 which is 14mm taller than standard but still fit without to much problems, any lower profile would be reducing the rolling radius 195/45-15 is 6mm smaller than stock but may be an option for lowered cars to eliminate rubbing. Also you shoulb be able to go with a 6.5-7" rim without rubbing on the strut so long as the offset is et49,
6.5" rim reduces strut clearance by 19mm and arch clearance by 19mm, 7" rim reduces the clearances by 25mm but the tyres should look less balloned, i would recommend the 6.5" with the 15" wheels because you have the extra side wall to play with but the 195/40-16 would need the 7" rims because of the low profile. if you do go far the lower profile 15" tyres then you can go for the wider rim,
