do the paperclip test tell us what fault codes you get
http://www.allcorsa.co.uk/forums/showth ... -8479.html

When was it last given a good service?

It could be the MAF doing the paperclip test will tell you for sure.

The engine shouldn't pink it has a knock sensor that detects pinking and alters the mixture to stop it.

Sorry you just need to put a paper clip between 6 and 5 don't do it between any others, pin 6 is the important one for the ECU pin 5 is just ground.
It seems that you are unlucky and have a corsa that vauxhall decided not give a pin 6. This means the only way to read fault codes is with a hand held reader, vauxhall can do this but will charge you a fortune, most garages also have readers and won't charge you much.

Door speakers are 5.25" i think - or 14cm. Check the ICE forum though - it shud say in there. Just remember any after market speakers will need an adapter as they will be deeper than the standard plates - its only a few quid from halfrauds or ebay though
