Re: Faded paint!!
you could always book it into a body shop for a good going over with a polishing mop (low rpm one to reduce risk of burning through) it should only cost about £60 for a small car, you will still need to spend a few hours cleaning all the polishing compound off (especialy the black trim nail brush works great) anfd giving it a few coats of hand glaze or wax, but it sure is a lot less effort than t cutting it by hand imho , and will get most light scratches out at the same time

Re: Faded paint!!
Carl's (Roperstun) looks really good now, i've seen the pics of his when it was pink. Looks so nice now!
Do the same process he said, works a treat. I did that when first got my white corsa and that turned out from dull to really nice shine. There are other products you can use aswell for extra protection etc but to start with just follow carl's advice. 11 hours seem like a long time but to be honest it doesn't feel any better than spending ages working on cleaning your car and it coming out soooo shiney. Last time i cleaned my car i spent around 6 hours washing it and then polishing, claying, waxing etc and i only managed to polish etc the roof, spoiler and bonnet. I ran out of time but i spend an age on mine trying to get it soooo shiney. It looks good for it though.
Come to think of it, it's about time it had another proper full clean and polish!

I did do my car with only cloths though and it was a boiling hot day, it took 3 coats of t-cut, 2 of red polish and 2 wax coats. Oh and i was and polish it every week even though I can't drive it yet
