hey you guys .....when i installed my stereo ...i didnt have an adaptor so i spiced a few wires to make it work .....yet ....i have now lost all memory on my time/date/temp display ...everytime i start my car it just reads 00:00
...well not happy... now i know its my fault but..i was wondering theloom that connects into the rear of the CD player...where does the other end of this loom go ...can i replace that section of loom .. do you get me ???? cheers 4 help evry 1 !!!

you wired it in right its just that vauxhall put the constant live and the ingintion live cables the other way round.
so its as easy as swapping two wires not sure what colour they are but if you have a multimeter one will be constant 12v and the other will be 12v but only when the ignition is on.
or if you have a wiring diagram swap the wire labled memory or mem with the wire labled live or + or batt

cheers haydn ...i don't think iv'e ever asked a question that you cant answer. ....so these cables that i must identify are in the connector block at the back of Head unit ??? ... so once i can c each one ... should i just swap them over in the connector block??? cheers m8 !!

its usually the red and yellow wires,

Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts
