i wondered what the pro's and cons are for either going for just springs, or going for springs and shocks?
I have a little 1l but like the lowered look but want better handling. I have 2 kids and a missus so need no rubbing with kids in back. I was looking at 40mm shocks and springs by jamex off ebay, is this a good idea and anyone reccomend them?

Re: Lowering???
Basically just going for springs will screw ur handling up loads and also cause ur dampers to wear out much faster. The downside is though that a full suspension kit is at least twice the price. If you can afford it the full one is always better and yeh 40mm shud be fine with rear passengers - depends if you have alloys and what offset they have. B4 u buy u might want to double check which one is the 40 and which one is the 60 lowering springs - it could end up being the other way round and having 60mm for the back and 40mm for the front lol
