decat pipe

Hey guys,
my 1.6 sport has a full magnex exhaust on it but it was the previous owner who put it on. i want to buy a decat pipe to go straight on but i dont know what to buy. If i buy a decat pipe for the 1.6 16v will it be guaranteed to fit? also, i couldnt find any for corsa b's. just the tigra 1.6 16v. would this fit? or is there anywhere that sells them specifically for corsa b's? thanks

Just be aware that decat pipes are illegal and will void your MOT and therefore your insurance.

thanks, but i'm also aware they will release gases quicker therefore more power

Only if you have an improved cold air intake and flowed exhaust manifold to allow the maximum flow of air through!

very true! got a dbilas inlet manifold, dbilas flowmaster induction kit, dbilas remap and 4 branch manifold. so i think a decat will be well worth it!

Then yes, you'll probs get a few BHP out of it! Just don't get caught!

nobody know if a tigra 1.6 16v would have the same decat pipe spec as the corsa 1.6 16v?

Try going to your nearest powerflow dealer, i went there and they shown me some new backboxs and showed me what they would sound like before welding it all together, i ended up just cutting the backbox off.

And in answer to your question m8 i think it probably would yeh - just check the engine codes are the same. If they are then its basically the same engine
