Whats the 'actual' specs of a 1.2i corsa b? i mean according to autotrader/on here/ almost everywhere i can find it says the top speed is like 90mph, but iv been faster...not much faster but faster so where do they get the specs from? surely vaux/opel know that it does more than 90 :s im confuzled

n reg 1.2i corsa spin = rolled and scrapped
m reg 1.2i corsa ls = tw@s next door robbed it
m reg 1.0 16v twin cam ....Micra haha :P

Mods so far :- new stereo, blue led's on the dashboard, blue lightswitch and headlight alignment switch, started getting rid of the rust =]....thats it :(

you really need to give mor info. mate, is it 8v or 16v for example. have you put bigger wheels on it????

Hes proabably refering to the 8 valve and yeh most cars will do slightly more than the factory specs state. One of the reasons is probz that they do most of this stuff on nearly new cars that haven't 'bedded in' like in older cars now. For example, my 1.2 16valve is meant to do 101 isnt it or something like that but ive had 110 out of it on the flat b4

its a 1.2 8v, i mean on the motorway iv gotten to just past 100 which i think is an achievement seeing as how my corsa is basically standard

oh and i have the standard wheels and the less than standard size tyres, i.e. on my 1st corsa they where 165/13/r summat or other, the ones on my newish one are tinyer! :lol:

Well a smaller total diameter of the wheel will result in your speedo being out slightly. Also bear in mind that speedos are not always accurate anyway - the can be a few mph out. Thats why the normal speed camera rule is 10% +1 to account for inaccurate speedos
