Scrap your k&n mate... they go much better wit a driled airbox with an uprated panel filter, or you could be adventerous and put ur cone filter in the stardard air box and put a cold air feed to it!! corsa's really dont like sucking in hot air! hope this helps matey.

you cnt de-cat a 1.2sxi and if you bodge one i would only expect it to fk up, ive got same car . i have done : de-piped the airfilter and drilled bottom with a green cotton air filter panel. stripped interior . ( not plastics or door cards) got a custom eaxhaust system ( centre pipe and backbox ) . all matters on alloys you have aswell as i noticed quite alot from goin from 17's to 15's . all in all i get about 112mph sumat like tha.

not sure . but i dnt think there would be any point as i dnt think you would notice that much defference . dnt see the point in them if the car is under 1.6 tbh plus there a mot failure so why would you bother .

Re: engine mods :)
i had a 1.1 metro a while ago
it had a resignator on
i cut that out and welded a bit of pipe over the top there was a difference i was keeping up with a 1.4 saxo i had a straight through exhaust and air induction kit
i would suggest cutting the cat out but do aa propper job of it
and so long as u put it back on for test should be fine just a hassle really have you tried the cold feed?
maybe look at air tempreature sensor have only heard about that not sure if it works or not?
