Hi every1. Ive just won 2 subs and an amp in big box on something called freecycle. Anwyay, i have a few questions for when i fit this in a couple of days.
Thew first is that it don't say about inclusing an earth wire in the package. So do I need one? If so where shud i attach it to? And what kind of wire do i need? Like would the ordinary plug wire cut of an old drill or radio do?
The second is which side of the car shud i use for the power and HU cable? Passenger for HU and driver for power?
I am a bit of a noob when it comes to this lol

for the love of god DO NOT use a piece of flex.
what size wire all depends on the power of the amp.
get to halfords or get on ebay and get some propa cable for the job.
and it doesnt matta what side you run the wires its just personal preference
and by won you mean you got for free as freecycle is free
so if i was you i wldnt expect much from them as they cnt be that good if he cant sell em lol

i had no idea how to install amp n speakers before i had a look at this:

very helpful and the job was pretty easy. and BTW i would buy proper wiring for amps, u can get them in kits, the wiring is a lot thicker and insulated a lot better.

if u aint already fitted it passenger side would probs be better as thats the side the battery is on , so you might save a metre or 2 of cable
