overheating amp!

Post by green_machine »

hi there,
i bought a new amp, its a vibe slick a4. it has 2000w max, 4 channels. I've bridged 2x 1000w subs on 2 channels to each sub. it sounds fine but the amp is getting really hot, like too hot to touch. i've been told to check that the amplifier impedance matches the subs but i cant see where to adjust the impedance, i mean there isn't a knob to turn or anything? any other ideas of what it could be?
