mpg problem
hi all jst wunderin wts the mpg on a 1.0coz mines done 100mikes 2 20pound lol is there a comon fault wiv them for this problem thnx

it can be any number of things like mods urv done or how you drive or it hasnt been serviced

all standard 1.0 sud be doin way more jst had oil and filter bt the airflow meter is off bt that wudnt cause it 2 go dwn that much i have no power if i keep it connected m8t

u need a new air flow meter without using one your engine isnt fueling properly

You should be getting 100miles to £10. Thats roughtly what I'm getting. I get 200miles to £10 on motorway at 62mph.
If your changing gear late (letting the enging rev up high) then you'll loose your economy.
You should be changing gear at 2500 to 2800 rpm to keep your fuel economy.
