Here is my flame red Corsa project!

Post by SparcoSt3 »

so here is the official start of my corsa project. all the chavy rubish bits are gone everything has been put to a respectable standard and im ready to start my project!

here is the car as of now

Image

some more photoes are going to be uploaded soon!

and here are my plans!

first i am looking to buy a set of white cesaro rims with low profile tires

then i am going to buy a full coilover kit from hottuning and lower the car between 80-100mm

my 3rd stage of my product is hopefully getting a 1.6 gsi engine conversion, but this may end up being a more distant stage of my project. including a full exhaust system with decat pipe and 4 branch manifold.

i am then stripping out my interior apart from the the front seats and getting carbonfibre door panels and boot pannels

the next adition will be a front and rear strutbrace and a pair of 3 point harnesses.

i then hope to find a good bolt in rollcage

the final stages of my project will be the looks of the car.. im not fully decided yet, but im thinking i want it to be a unique car and am thinking gloss black bumper trim and arches with a smooth scuttle pannel also in gloss black.

the final stages will be weight saving issues such as perspex windows, fiberglass bonnet and boot etc..

i will keep you updated with pictures as my project progresses!

i have those wheels and the coilies from them, i've only fitted the back atm but they don't go quite low enough. if you have a bit more money get a better kit or very low springs

no it's wound all the way down on the back, my brother is a mechanic and he fitted it so im pretty sure he does know how to do it.
i wasnt expecting them to be great, but i was expecting them to be better then cut springs
