Few Questions...

For 1, My car (Vauxhall Corsa Spin , 1.2 8v N reg. Apparently does 90 MPH and has 45BHP, Its most definitely faster than my 55s Punto 1.1 (55bhp) and iv had 110 out of my car and could have gone further but i backed out, unless my car has a different engine to the log book says i duno. it only has 1 cam and looks pretty small to me, another thing...

iv tried 2 different dails now with rev coundters, starting from 10mph (like mine) and everything works on it apart from the rev counter, now in my punto i hav to splice a wire coming from the ECU and wire it directly to the dail cluster, does this not apply to the corsa too? if it does can someone tell me what colour the wire it and were the ECU is on a corsa?? thanx peeps. Have a look at the engine code on the side of the engine (dont know exactly where it is) and you will see what engine you have. Also you should get a few more mph than stated from a good condition but well run-in engine but this still seems a bit extreme. Have you changed your wheels by any chance? If the wheel and tyre combination is a different size to the original your speedo will be out

I am suffering from the same problem and I was trying to find out the solution of it. Thanks jimmy to give the solution. Though I yet not tried it out but I hope it will work and solve my problem.

u need to cut and splice the blue camble going to the ecu and link it upto the rev counter i had to do it on my ls ill find you the instructions i used
