project generic modded corsa (black sxi)
got my corsa a little while ago after looking for a decent black sxi for a resonable price
when i got it:
it had a gash petrol cap cover so i took that off along with the rub-strips and tinted my rear lights and side repeaters:
i then got a bagless grill and a 'neverbeen' sticker (no photo's atm)
i've ordered some coilies and some 15" cav wheels hopefully they should arrive soon so i can put them on
i'm not gonna pretend that i'm trying to make an original or unique corsa, cuz everything that looks good has already been done. i just want it too be clean and still looking quite factory
other plans include:
full colour code
tints
depo's
get my new wheels sprayed dark gray
alarm
oh and pass my f**k test!!! 4th time lucky hopefully

Re: project generic modded corsa (black sxi)
cheers mate, at the rate i'm going it's gonna be finished before i can even drive it if i fail again i will cry
but i'm bored of seeing it on my drive so i'd rather be doing poo to it
f**k declaring any of it on my insurance, it's gonna high enough anyway
if i get it looking smart enough and want to keep it for more than a year i might think about putting a x16xe or a c20xe in it
i want these wheels and coilies on by next week!

Re: project generic modded corsa (black sxi)
tbh i think ur daft mate if ur not gonna declare it. theres no point in paying insurence if its void and no offence but if u've failed ur test 4 times ur probly not the best or safest driver.f**k declaring any of it on my insurance, it's gonna high enough anyway
not ment to be offensive mate just my oppinion
OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts
Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

Re: project generic modded corsa (black sxi)
well no cuz if you have no insurance then you will get pulled and fined. i can only afford third party anyway so they wouldnt pay out anyways.
and f**k off mate you dont know poo! you dont learn how to drive until you've passed your test, you only learn how to pass a test. and it's been stupid little things any way. you dont know me, and you dont know how i will drive so there's absolutely no need to be a prick

Re: project generic modded corsa (black sxi)
whatever mate, your probably just being smug cuz you passed first time or something. aslong as i dont crash into someone it wont make a difference. i will have a look at declaring some of it if it's not that much difference in price
got tyres on the wheels
done the rear
coilies didnt come with any instructions so are a bit of a bitch figuring it out. doing front as soon as my dad comes back with the socket we need to take the top strut mount off the old strut. should hopefully be finished soon and i will have pictures up once it's washed.
test in a few weeks, hopefully this will be the last one :/

Re: project generic modded corsa (black sxi)
looks pritty nice m8. wouldnt bother with colourcoding with them you can basicaly get them the same colour using bumper black , what are your plans for the wheels ? re-furb ? would look a minter if you did them white with the insurance just try to insure what you can , mainly alloys incase they get robbed. but keep us updated
p.s can everyone keep bad language to a minimum . thank you

Re: project generic modded corsa (black sxi)
my mates dad has a body shop so is doing the colour code for a reasonable price but to a very high standard.
i dont want the wheels black or white but im not sure what colour i do what them. there's a kid i know who said he'll do them all for £30. can someone do a few photoshops for me with the wheels sprayed diferent colours?
i got some locking wheels nuts to protect the wheels, but the wheels only cost £60 so i doubt anyone will want to steal them lol
i'm definatly getting an alarm though, cuz my brother's old bmw got broken into outside our house, and the damage they do breaking in costs quite a bit to repair, he had to buy a whole new door

Re: project generic modded corsa (black sxi)
yeah they are in exelent condition 0 kerbing, i got them off a bloke breaking a cav
yeah the kiddy said £30 for all four wheels. he's already done my mates c2 vts wheels, but didnt do that great a job, mainly cuz they are such an awkward design and he insisted on helping so only gave him £20.
im not sure about gold, i was thinking drak grey but im not too sure now. i need someone to do some photoshops for me
