horn! beep beep!

i have a momo steering wheel fitted, since before i bought my corsa. the problem is when i push the horn it only comes on sometimes. i know there's nothing wrong with the actual horn cos it sounds fine and loud. also i checked the connections behind the button and they seem fine? any ideas?

My mate (sparcoste) has the same problem so would like 2 know as well. Its always baffled me why this happens lol

Make sure the connection inside the hub are correct. There's a spring loaded thing above the column which must firmly connect to the hub, and the wire in the middle needs to be firmly connected to the spade connector on the horn push. Also, the horn push should have a spring loaded bit on it which must touch the bare metal of the hub.

Copper grease on the back of the boss kit is also a good idea.
