Engine Squeeking

Hi again,

Iv recntly noticed on my 1.0l 12v that when i turn off the ignition, there is a high pitched squeeking just before it settles(sounds like a mouse tbh )

On start up the engine sounds and starts fine and stays like the whilst running, its just when i turn it off?!?

Anyone had a similar problem? I dont want to just ignore it incase its something major

My 1.0l 12v does the same, has done for a year or two. Not sure what causes it, seems to be running fine so I haven't really looked into it too much.

I'v only recently noticed it but i would like to know what it is - also nice knowing its not just me !

i have heard a bit about this noise aswell but no one knows where its from , i reckon its from a bearing on a pulley , such as, alternater, water pump, fan ect .next person to have the belts off there car have a check (I)
