If the engine didn't play up then it's likely to be electrical, check your wiring.

Hey

as "bluecorsab" Said prob justbad connection i have lights on my dash that stop working or start working at weird times... My light on dash to tell me my headlights are on comes on when i indicate or break, but doesn't work normally... And my handbreak light flashes when i go over a bump...

Just check wiring behing clocks not a hard job three screws in steering cover and three in pod the goes over clocks, clock should also have 3 screws in them and then should just pull out.. Simple ( i think vauxhall like to use's screws in 3's) . Going to fix myn at weekend.. lol

cheers for the suggestions but after further inspections under the bonnet today i found that my alternater belt had gone lol so was running off of my battery. went to local car part shop grabbed a new belt for £3.50 and fitted it pretty easy lol it was just by chance that i looked otherwise i would have took it all apart to look at the wiring lol i would never had suspected it .
