New Here!

Post by Jim680 »

Hi everyone, Just bought a T reg corsa 1.6 sport. Must say It's really nippy for what it is. Only thing is, there's seems to be an issue with the clutch, when pulling away in 1st either in the morning or when I've been driving an hour it judders really bad , also crunches into Reverse.

Could this be an issue with the clutch? The engine's done 87k so it could be due a clutch, Any help appreciated.

It does sound like the clutch is causing a bit of an issue. Im no mechanic so im not sure but it does sound like that, it is an old car and if it hasnt had a new clutch then it must be getting pretty rough.

mine does exactly the same since i bought it just over 2 year ago, all i do is give it a good boost on the accelerator which normally cures it. however i have noticed tht my clutch is very 'high' which suggests i need it replacing. i think thts just the problem

Try adjusting the clutch cable first before you spend any money.
