Depends how low you go mate, i personally wouldn't enjoy it because the standard shocks are designed with the purpose of having the standard springs in place, i have went 60mm on a full jamex kit and the ride is great, firm but you know it is going to handle well!

i had them on for 3-4 months my brother had them be4 me for like a year they were fine obv aint as good as a full kit but miles better then normal springs. the rides firmer as yourd expect but the car grips better in the corners

i got 60mm springs on mine with standard shocks and its not to bad, yh you do feel the bumps a lil but more but its not unbearable, and it does handle a lot better, ive had them on there now nearly 2 years and the shocks are still going strong...... :D

mines lowered 40mm on jamex springs on standard shocks ... it handles better than standard but can be sometimes a lil harsh over big bumps , i have to slow right down and go into second gear for the speedbumps near me lol

i have 40mm springs on standard shocks and tbf... if you have the right wheels and tyres on (so your arches dont scrape) (which mine did :P) then it corners and handles like a dream :) so id say do it if you havent got hundreds to spend on the propper kit because it really isnt that bad... it will F**K your dampers up at the back tho :-(

90mph on Newport road on 40mm springs and 15 inch rims... not a problem ;) (corsa)

same speed in mums car with standard springs and 13" rims with thin tyres you would be on your roof. simple as :)

or just dont speed :)

I had 60mm springs with standard shocks and the ride was fine, but after about 10-12 months You could feel that it wasn't handling like it used to so I got the full jamex kit and it is lovely to drive! A friend of mine does rallyin in a corsa and he said if it was handling you were after, uprated shocks and standard srings were the way forward... But I wanted to go low low low!
