Corsa Screen inbetween time and temp inop
Just got the radio code sorted today, it shows the date when you turn the ignition on but when the radio or cd is playing it's completely blank, Can anyone shed any light?

Re: Corsa Screen inbetween time and temp inop
its because you have put an atermarket cd player in mate. it only works with te standard d player. you can make it work but disconnecin pin 8 (i think )in the back of your cd player but you will have crap radio recpetion ater that. everyone has the same problem mate.
OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts
Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

I don't think i have ever had it come up even when i had the standard head unit in. I have an aftermarket one now and the date only shows when i have it switched off otherwise it is blank. Personally i don't see it as a problem because you still have the temperature and the time which is all good!

Replace the sensor located behind your front bumper. Get them for £5 on ebay. 2min job.

Re: Corsa Screen inbetween time and temp inop
What model number is your radio, and has it ever displayed right in your car?
Quite a lot of the original vaux radios work on both 8 digit (corsas) and 10 digit (astra?) displays, but will show nothing if it's set to 10 digits on an 8 digit display. You need to hold some of the buttons down as you turn it on, but it varies between models.
For the CDR500 turn the engine on, radio off, hold 3 & 5, turn the radio on (Still holding 3 & 5) and wait until it beeps and you get "DISPLAY 8" on the mfd. Once that appears let go of 3 & 5, and it should remember the setting. If it's another model I'll try and find the button combo for it.
