Post by Octane2097 »

Not a corsa, so i dont expect many posts on this but i love it
after owning a mk4 Ibiza FR for a few years i decided to buy another one

Its a MK5 Ibiza FR SC 1.4 TSI Petrol
(supercharger for low revs, Turbocharger for high revs)
developing 150bhp and 220nm torque
limited slip diff with electronic diff lock

lots of gadgets like tyre pressure warnings and PDC cornering fog lamps etc etc,
best part is the Gearbox, Audis 7 Speed Sequential DSG with padle shifters can shift up in 8miliseconds down in 60miliseconds

very very smart mate 8)
OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts

Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

trying to decide weather or not to have the bodykit fitted
its £880 and it would mean losing the rear difuser on the back too :(

or i could just spend £500 to take it to 220bhp

volkswagens tsi twincharger engines, its a right little tower of power
and the FR isnt even the top one, they do the cupra and bocanegra (pictured)
Image
they put out 180bhp from standard!! and again still only a 1.4!
that said the corsa vxr does 190bhp and thats only a 1.6!

funny i was concidering a corsa VXR but theres about 6 people i know round here with em and they are all girls
makes me think they are a bit girly..... anyway

the only issue with getting it remappd is it would void my warrenty
and i think 220bhp is a bit much for a front engined front wheel drive car, id probably just take it to 200bhp

hmm decisions decisions
