3rd gear slugish.

Post by protek »

as from the topic thread. when i thrash my car through 1st and 2nd its fine, but when i slap it in 3rd it seems to be slugish and like have no power for 2/3 seconds before it decides to build speed again lol.

any ideas what is up with my car? btw the exhaust plate thingy is loose under the bonnet. thats all i know off.

thanks

what engine have you got?
smaller engined corsa's has gearboxes setup for economy rather than power
always found 3rd was a bit rubbish on my corsa

same as mine mate, ive had mine MOT'd and service recently and the garage obviously didn't find anything wrong, wouldn't worry about it too much, like octane 2097 said it's probably just and economy setup...we'll just have to put up with the lack of power lol
