wheels rubbing!

hi guys, i have 17's but my arches have been rolled so i have had no problems with rubbing up until now. i had to have my track rod end ball joints changed, and now, since the guy that did them put my front wheels back on, the inside of the passenger side wheel is rubbing when i full lock. what has happened?

he could have put the track rod end back on in the wrong place. when you take a track rod end off you are meant to mark the track rod where the track rod end sits so you can screw the new track rod end into the same position. if he hasnt put it on in the same place it is possible your tracking could be slightly out. you could be doin with gettin your tracking set, take it back to the guy that did the track rod ends and tell him whats happenin since he touched it.

You should always get your tracking done when you get any kind of suspension work done. Even with the best plans and preparations it will be out slightly.

when i did my track rod end,i just counted how many turns it took to unscew the old one,then screwed the new one on the same amount of turns.steerings been fine since,and its still fine after fitting my front springs.

does my car need to be lifted off the ground for the tracking to get done? i'm not sure how it's done.
the reason i ask is because my car is so low that most garages cant get it on their ramp!

yeah i mark my track rod arm where the nut from the track rod end is before undoing it then count the turns and your sound, you dont need it on a ramp to do the tracking no but it is much easier and quicker with it on a ramp, but if your car is lowered they might need it on a ramp, depends if they can get to the track rod whilst its on the ground.
