hi every one goin to pick up my new alloys on friday
i got steelies at the moment
just got told i wont be able to use the wheel nuts off my steelies is this true

any one wanna buy any steelies??

yeh u need alloy wheel nuts,or the standard ones will wear into the alloy.

You may need to change them for longer ones though.

think about it..alloy metals are softer than steel,so if you have a hard metal against a soft metal-obvs the harder metal will wear away the softer one..its not something you HAVE to do,but is recomended.

Deff change the bolts mate, i have seen some horror stories in my time working at motor world, but in the same sense wherever you bought the wheels form a new fitting kit should have been supplied anyway.

he is right as the taper bolt on a steelie is slightly more narrow but on a vaux it minute so ul be fine
