hi all,
just a quickie, i have a 2000 plate corsa , 1.0 12v envoy, i didnt get a fob with it just key, did this model have a fob alarm system?

Chances are it doesn't even have an alarm system, just the immobiliser.

usualy most corsas dnt have fobs apart from the higher engine/spec ones, central locking kits are quite cheapto buy though

Mine (my wife's) Corsa is on a 1999 plate and had none either. I just bought a remote locking kit and fitted it yesterday. Great improvement!! :D

For anyone wanting help with the wiring...

Removing the drivers side footwell cover reveals a small loom going down to the floor. This is the loom from the door. The only wires you will be interested in are: Brown (ground, or batt -), Brown & red (lock) and brown & white (unlock). If you short the brown to brown & white, the car will unlock and brown to brown & red will lock it.

I'm now considering fitting a button on the dash to overcome that annoying "auto lock" when the engine starts. 8)
