Hello all im new to corsab.co.uk
and im stuck with a something i am hoping to buy a set of clocks for my corsa b 1.2 8v with a rev counter intergrated and was wondering if i do get a set
how do i change the mileage ?
btw its electronic not cable driven

don't, get some with lower miles then get it re-mot'd and ur sorted :lol:

OR

Take it to someone with a diagnostics machine and they dhould be able to do it for you :D

so theres no way i could do it myself for free only ive heard its just a matter of moving the numbers by hand by rolling them
just wanted to know if its true or not without breaking owt :P

no u cant i tried it and it jst broke the mechanisim so the mileage didnt change

what about changing over the mileage clocks over from mine to the other clock with a rev counter?

the milegeage bit from a non rev counter wnt fit as its too big

You have to push out a pin first, as there's some extra plastic blob things above the numbers that prevent you from rolling it. Once that's out they roll freely.

ive brought sum clocks and changed the mileage to mine but ive connected em up and the odometer and milometer arnt working :(

there are companies that do 'milage adjustment' so can correct it for you, but obviously they charge for this. :D try searching on google

You can do it your self by taking the mechanism apart :D

found out how to do it the other day:P
Drive it like you stole it!!

Then when it breaks, push it like you stole it!!!!

OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts :rant:
