How to add extra power/another battery to amp as lights dip
when a lot of base is on the lights dip as it is taking a lot of power from the battery, is there a way to stop this? either by adding another battery, or something else?

OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts
Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

You'd probably be better fitting a small power cap between the battery and the headlights, rather than between the battery and the amp.

depending on the system and how much you have it up you may need more than one power cap. i bought one recently and it didnt really do much.
that what i get for sticking 3x12's in a corsa. Second battery and some kinda trickle charge would be good. although the power cap between battery and lights sounds like a sweet idea.

it gets charged from the alternator. the current goes from the alternator to the first battery then sum of it goes to the secondJimi137 wrote:the thing ive always wondered though is without a second alternator to charge the second battery - how is it gonna stay charged????

fit a bigger battery and you could also fit a higher amp alternator

Ahhhh okie dokie. That sounds quite easy tbh. Mine used to have the same problem but only the bassiest of songs and only sometimes when the battery charge was low. Usually it was fine
