CAT C HELP
is it worth buying a cat c car? im looking at one and its got damaged right driver mirror right panel and light. i know its got to have a vic check for it to be road worthy but what i want to know is will them parts cost alot and will the catc stay on the car is i sell it. not that i would for the price its at

You could easily get those parts from a scrapyard... and from a scrap yard i doubt they'll cost much! I dont know about the Cat C bit tho, i think it goes down as a repaired or something.... not sure tho!

yes mine is a cat d repaire ,. all it took was a new bumper/grill, p/s light and crash bar, if its cheap enough buy it , but keep in mind when you are selling it on you wont be able to get as much mney.

i know as its my dads business to repair cars and then sell them on basically there all graded by insurance A,B aint worth touching interior parts maybe okay...... cat C,D perfectly fine to be put on the road and okay to buy and repair to the GSRA test or VIC test and thats only to check the vehicles identity it all depends whether your buying it to make profit or not...... its worth around 30 % less than a non cat car so be aware! although it means you can pic your self up a cheap bargain i'm getting a 55 plate corsa c sri needs bumper crash bar and two lights cat c well worth it for 700 quid
