Hi,
I have a corsa b 2000 with the x10e engine. The has stopped starting. The engine turns but it will not fire. I have pulled out the coil pack and cranked the engine with the plugs in it.
Only the outer two plugs will spark whilst the middle one will only spark occasionally and when it does it is very very weak.
I have a spare coil pack and it does exactly the same with either.
I have changed the position of the plugs too - all three plugs will spark in the two outer coil connectors but the middle one just exhibits the same symptoms as described above....
I was thinking maybe the wiring was busted somewhere but I don't know where to start!!
Thanks in advance!
Marc

Re: Corsa b coil pack only 2 out of 3 plugs sparking
Hey!
I have now got spark on all three plugs having extended the springy bit in the coil pack but still no joy!
Battery is at 12 v on the fluke and the engine appears to be turning over - i can see the cams moving through the oil filler cap.
Could it be the starter motor?

If the engine turns over on the key as normal then it isn't the starter motor.
