But it's easy to get into that ready position if you watch the road. Look at the traffic flow, watch the other lights. I can assure you I don't waste time.

well your eyes dont control your pedels lol so you can use your feet get straight on the bite foot on the gas and get ready to drop no need for a handbrake cos you can freeze the car on your clutch and then the second the lights go you can hit the gas...... but you should be checking the road anyway lol
Obviously inexperienced drivers then. I maintain I waste no time at traffic lights. I've learned how to multitask. Using all your senses at the same time is a wonder.

funny thing multi-tasking if you can drive you should be able to do it lol and im far from in expirienced, just know how to do things properly and at the end of the day people drive different ways but surely you can look at your surroundings and have your feet ready :S or is that just complicated???? surely as someone with a full license you'd have learned to get your feet set ready and be looking at your surroundings
for all u clutchers out there enjoy a nice whining noise in the future coming from your clutch as u push it in lol thats the sound of a bearing f*cked from u holdin it in at the lights
also if ur havin fun at lights u should have ur revs sittin at about 3 and a half steady before it even turns from red lol
as others say its easier with lights at night just watch all the traffic from every direction see which ones trigger the lights first and get in there first, flash at the lights they pick u up before anyone else drop into 2nd and slowly go up towards the lights if u do it properly it should change about a second or 2 before u hit the white line..
outside lane is best too means u overtake any idiots that use their brakes at lights on the inside lane, or these clutcher people lmao
i bet that instructor didnt own that car lol probably didnt care since most learners will burn his clutch out its just more of a reason to get it replaced for free...
