y go from a 1.2 to 1.4 y not just buy a 1.4 and save ur self alot of time and money?
if ur gonna change the engine u mite as well go for a 2litre or sumit big?

i u have a look at the specs for the engine theres not alot of difference

OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts

Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

i am building a eurorod race car 1.4 is the limit for this spec and the 1.4 astra engine and box is more suitable than the corsa , but saying that the 1.4 cavalier engine and box is even better (but i have not got one of them) The eurorod
formula , engines must be unmodified in any way except for you can use other vauxhall 1.4 lumps. (must be 8v and carbed)
Hope this explains why the swap.
p.s if you type in eurorod on youtube you can see them racing .
