OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts

Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

hello & :welcome: , i would of fitted a x18xe1 as it bassed on the same block as a x14xe so would fit in the same as the x14xe but would give you loads more power for your money, if in the future you wanna swap to a x18xe1 then it will be simple :D
RED Corsa GSi Owner - Thats one GSi saved from the scrapheap and the pikeys who break them or ruin them with tacky mods :D

cheers and i went straight to the 1.4 cos i had a honda civic and my mate had the sri so we swapped cars and he gave money on top and the convertion was pretty simple i just dropped the 1.2 engine and box with the hole front suspension and removed the 1.2 wiring loom for the engine from the transfer box then put the new wiring in and slid the 1.4 engine box suspension under mine and just lowered the car on to it. but iv seen a few c20xe engines on ebay so gonna try and get one lol

cheers for the advice mate and dependin on money im tryin to get a c20xe engine but if it works out to exspensive may consider the x18 so is the loom the same on the engine or would i need the loom for the engine and is the connector plug the same as on the 1.4 cos mine has a big blue plug that sits near the inlet
