Ah I guess you do C++ or Java? I've never done anything with games, looks hard like

Nope. Although I can program C++ and did Java so many years ago at uni, I don't use them for games development myself. I use dark basic professional. It's easier to program in, and it has a set of libraries for visual studio 09 so I can even use it with C++ when I finally make a game worth porting!
