My driver's side handle is a bit loose, I mean, normally the other three pull back all the way quickly put this one feels like the cable/spring whatever system it has is loose and sometimes after I open the door especially in colder weather, the plastic handle thing sticks up. Also, the most annoying bit is that sometimes although I push down the locking pin, somehow when I close the door it comes back up, also opening the other doors. If I slam it a bit harder it normally doesn't do that though...I suspect it's also because of this loose handle because I noticed it never happens if I keep the handle forced down, parallel to the door as I close it.
Maybe someone who opened it can describe whatever is in there, I'm curios if I can somehow tighten that spring, cable, whatever that holds the handle back. If there's no way but to get another one, then I won't bother because I will most likely not find some part like that here in Cyprus...
Loose door handle, any way to tighten it ?

there supposed to do that its so you cant lock your keys in the car, safety messure to lock it like that you need to push the pin down then hold the handle up on the door and shut it, it will then lock

umm...really ? I drove/owned other cars with central lock and none had a loose handle, I'm talking you can move the thing 30-40 degrees without it "pulling" back so it must mean some spring or mechanism of some sort is loose, no ?
Another way of explaining it...on the front passenger side, it's not loose at all and locking it from that door never fails not opens back...

Smithie means the locking pin is supposed to pop up when you close the door to prevent you locking the keys inside. If you hold the door handle up when closing the door then the pin should stay down.
