Power Steering

Post by rawgrafix »

Hi guys, just bought a 95 3 door corsa as a run about for the business. Trouble is it's got no power steering! :-( Is there any way of fitting power steering?

Thanks
Richard

you can put power steering but its a bitch of a job

go down scrappy and get all parts you need its not the case of itl take ages its just a bit of a job your have to find places to mount the resivours and stuff

i know a couple of people on here that have gone for an electric motor type of steering which to what i can remember goes on the steerin coloumb but dont quote me on that

that may be worth looking at as your just have to wire it up

hope i helped

I'm quite happy to pay you and travel almost anywhere to get it done.

go to scrappy and find a corsa b 1.4 auto, most are fitted as standard, you need front engine mount which the pump mounts on, automatic corsas are body type 2 if your chassis is the same its an easy job .mine has been converted from auto to manual by my dad, easy conversion

I've accepted an offer of help from another member - corsa boi i think his u/name is, he's only in Tiptree so he's reasonably local to me. I'm going to have a go at tinting his windows for him too - should be easy but we'll see.....
