Clutch

Post by sassnowwolf »

Well, since i've had my Corsa b 2000 GLS, the clutch has always pretty much been on the floor, theres never been any problems with it it's a beast of a 1.0 :D. however now when i change gear or stop it feels like i have to push it through the floor if you get me. It feels like it's far too loose.

So what i am asking is, do i need to change my clutch? as in newer cars the clutch doesn't need to be pushed down far at all, is this just a general corsa problem or what?
If i don't have to change my clutch can i tighten the cable at all so its not on the floor when i change gear.

Any help is appreciated, cheers.

clutch cable probley streached, look on top of the gear box where you will find the end of the cable some times you can normaly tighten it from there

I had the same problem with mine but eventually the cable snapped. Do you have AA cover? because when you call them out they just change the cable for free.
