lowering , and 13 inch wheels

hey , ive gt a 1997 corsa breeze , got 13 inch softstar alloys on it and would like to lower it , my cousin who had a nova before told me not to got 60 mm unless i get new shock absorbers , and i should do 60 front 40 back , but will my small 13's look stupid in my arches ? and wont a 60 - 40 be uneaven , and my cars red, would the wheels look good black , any1 got any pictures of corsa's with irmscher softstars on ?

mines lowered 40mm allround on 13's.looks mint,rear tyre sits nice under rear arch,but the front is a lil higher,but thats only coz the rear arch is more square than the front.

ur mate is right about 60mm front,40mm rear, coz this will make it look more even,even tho its not.

as far as been uneven 20mm difference is not much but if you go over 40mm on the front or rear u will need upgraded shocks,but this is just my 2 cents lol.
