I've got a 1.0ltr corsa! Mines starting to look good!
It depends if you want looks or power?
Like me (eventually) you could always drop a bigger engine in at a later date!

Search for my project log (ProjectPanda) (This should be it: http://forums.corsa-b.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=11361 . It's been a while since i updated it (could do with updating it to be honest), i started with the stereo and speakers, alloys and spoiler! Then the rear lights and then bits went from there! Unfortunatly at the time of starting the log i couldn't find the origional log pictures i took for the car (have since found them so will update it at some point!)
Not really sure on how much i've spent as bought bits which haven't yet or are never going to go on the car, and then alot on trying to fix issues with the engine (like new ECU £250 and Heater Matrix £400) these were issues to keep it running!
Best advice is look in the sale sections and ebay! Thats what i tend to do! And those lights if they are the chrome lexus lights you can get them cheaper from ebay!

Re: is it really worth it ?
i have a 1.0L too
i personally think it has more power than my mates 1.2 8v
i started with exhaust, air filter, dash leds, clock leds, heater leds, interior light leds, xenon headlights and quad led sidelights.
bought some lexus rears and fitted them the other day.
just fitted cd player tonight and wired the sub up to it.
alloy wheels, genuine mudflaps fitted and lowering by 40mm happening on saturday as well as 6x9s being fitted in parcel shelf.
angel eyes should come saturday or monday too
looks a sweet little car. i just want to update the interior now as it is pretty crap.

Re: is it really worth it ?
well i started with a boring without rev counter in her and bought a dials/clock etc led set off ebay in blue. i asked the seller if they could put some dial leds for a rev counter in too.
they did, but i hadnt got rev counter dials yet. so fitted the normal bulbs to the boring dials and they were very dull. contacted the seller and they sent me some leds which has 5 or 6 leds in and they made it light up alot brighter. then they started to go wrong and some of the leds wouldn't work but luckily by then i had bought a rev counter dials. put the spare leds in that the seller had added extra. perfect.
they light up better on the black clocks thn they do on my mates white dials.
i will start a log tonight if i have time.

In terms of performance ur not going to get much out a 1.0 mate. Focus on suble styling and save your money for a 1.4/1.6 sport
Im guessing your young so a redtop will kill you on the insurance if you declare it.

Re: is it really worth it ?
Yeh as has been sed there aint much you can do performance wise to a 1.0 litre. But a k&n panel filter aint gonna hurt. Lowering it is defo gd but make sure you get springs and shocks, not just springs. As for alloys id try and go for vauxhall ones (cav slabs or cesaros) as it means you can lower the car without the arches rubbing plus it looks deep as well. For a 1.0 litre personally id go for subtle mods on the exterior (no massive wideboy bodykits kinda thing). Oh and avoid lexus lights - they look terrible on corsas - instead invest in some smoked ones off ebay or something.

Re: is it really worth it ?
tbh alloys are probz best to get first - then you will see if they fit in the arches and if now how much u can lower it by. if they are a non-vauxhall offset (any generic ones wont be) then could rub when u lower it so watch out
