17" on corsa b..

hello people, ive found some cheap 17" alloys for my corsa, whats your opinions on them ? can i still drop my car 40mm with no rub so on.. help needed fast please =)

u will need arch work for deffinate mate.and thats without lowering it. :meh:
I'd rather push a Corsa,than drive anything else. : )

I've currently got 18"s on mine with no lowering and it's fine. There off my other car, they aint staying on the corsa cos it looks wrong! lol

17s on corsas is wrong lol..looks terrible and causes rubbing when not lowered.

phil your corsa looks terrible with 18s on haha

Depends what offset the wheels are - you might be able to get away with 17" vauxhall alloys if you dont lower it but with a 40mm drop they're a no go. 15" is best on a corsa tbh but if you really want to push the boat out then 16" softstars looks gd and can handle a 40mm drop :)

mines on 17s with 215/40/r17 tyres mines been droped 30 on the rear and yes ive had to roll the arch , piece of piss to do any way lol but then mines full wide arch kitted so anythin smaller than 17s would look silly

i scrapped the idea, was some deepdish red n black 17s on swapz, was going to collect them but im gunna get 15s with 60mm drop, thanks anyway tho boys

good man thats how mine was before it was kitted go 4 a suspension kit or coilovers dnt do a 60mm drop on just springs it recks your shocks

Wrecking the shocks is the least of your worries. Lowered on standard shocks gives a deadly ride with horrible handling.

I've got 17's on and i'm looking to lower 20mm as i keep breaking springs on standard height
