just putting a 2 litre x20xev in my corsa, to save myself a lot of trouble will open the door and throw the ecu in, the cars that clever it will sort itself out :lol:
RED Corsa GSi Owner - Thats one GSi saved from the scrapheap and the pikeys who break them or ruin them with tacky mods :D

OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts :rant:

well i swear it reset mine when i did it - it had a terrible idle for like 10 mins afterwards then settled down and worked so much smoother throughout the rev ranges. maybe its just the ecotech engines that have this feature...

Not an opinion, a proven fact. Tho as someone said, possibly only ecotec engines.

if you look at a vauxhall service book ,where you have your service stamps done .it says in the service items carried out reprogramme ecu .this allows the technician to check what version of software your ecu is running on it then brings your ecu upto the most upto date map vauxhall can do this you cant .they are all the same ecotec or otherwise .done on a system called TIS i know .i do them all the time
