Door Speakers
Hi im lookin to upgrade the standard speakers in the front doors and have purchased adaptors from ebay.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me whether if these speakers would be to deep or if anyone could reccomend me any others for a similar price

Re: Door Speakers
No those adapters are fine.
They look to deep but they are fine. They make the speaker sit rite behind the grille.

1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts
Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

Re: Door Speakers
I haven't seen the pioneer one's yet as they are new to halfords. Altho in my opinion (and i work for Halfords and my department is Audio) the pioneers in the last few years have been very tinny. The kenwoods i think from listening to them have a much better overall sound quality. Good treble and good base. The pioneers generally sound distorted when base is added and depending on volume.
Hope this helps.

Re: Door Speakers
I was going to say don't make the same mistake i did - i've gone and bought huge speakers so we've had to 'modify' the doors to accomodate the big magnets, by modify i mean club hammer and by we i mean corsaboi1992 Jack.

Re: Door Speakers
We're just about to cross that bridge, i'm going to opt for under the carpet running next to centre console then under back seat where all the excess wire will be rolled.
Will probably change but that's the plan.......
