Corsa 2 litre X20XEV
thought it was time to start a project thread on what ive been doing to my car
few months ago was told by my dad that i could have the engine out of our vectra, so i jumped at the chance
this is the car the engine will be dropped in
i had the vectra engine out in a few days and in the shed to be painted up as it was filthy, also painted the rocker cover and cambelt cover
once it was in the shed the old gearbox was taken off and sold on to fund the new one, and everything was stripped off the engine so i could clean it and paint it
there is loads more pics of progress so far but need to find them, will upload them when i do
comments welcome

OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts
Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

Re: Corsa 2 litre X20XEV
ive had a look around and ive found the other pics of the progress ive made
we went down to chelmsford last weekend and got a f16cr gearbox, 90mm springs & uprated dampers & part of the conversion mount i needed, got them all off a mate on MigWeb
trail fitted the gearbox and all was ok
also fitted the 90mm springs with the new dampers
and got bored so painted the cover which goes on the bottom on the gearbox the same colour as the engine
and heres a few more pics of the engine
thats about it for now i think, but will update when there is more
comments welcome
