Washers Not Working
Now then, been having some problems with my washers, basicall the motor and wipers go but the water does not reach the jet's, now i have tried the following:
Checked the pipes
Cleaned the jets with a pin
Checked water level in washer bottle
Tried to find a blockage by blowing into the pipe connected to the washer bottle but nothing
Any ideas????

Re: Washers Not Working
I had similar problem mate myn was the pump was working but was blocked.. I removed pipes from pump and noticed then wen I pushed washer stalk no water was pumped throu so it was actually the pump at fault try that if u havnt already... If you find it is pump try company called vaux-world on eBay they got pumps for 5 quid brand new.... ( vauxhall want £38) if you have compresser could always blast some air down pipes to doulbe check they not blocked hopethis helps mate

do ether work? front or back or nither?
if you checked for leaks and made sure its got fluid in, made sure all pipes are connected
then chances are the motor is gone,

Neither jet's work but the motor still works so by process of elimination i am gonna go with the pipe going from the washer bottle must be blocked, it's a job for the weekend a think when it is actually light and i can see what am doing!

blocked filter in the bottom of the bottle, take the bottle out, pull the pump out, you will see a black washer that holds the pump in, thats a filter!! take it out with a small screwdriver and cut the bottom off it, then it wont block again, rebuild and it will be ok, screenwash is what causes it too block up.....

Re: Washers Not Working
you should beable to pull the pump out without taking the bottle out, then the little black grommet/filter will be there these are forever getting blocked, washing up liquid does it, if your bottle is dirty inside take it out n give it a good clean then when you top the bottle back up if you havent got screen wash only put a tiny bit of washing up liquid in
Drive it like you stole it

Well this morning i finally pulled me finger out and stripped the washer bottole out the car, gave it a good clean inside and out, cleaned the filter too and it now works fine. Cheers for all the advice guy's gonna keep an eye on it now that i know what is in there and make sure it dont block up again!
